Many of those working on campus at coffee locations across the United States are students themselves.

As ‘Wintermester” ends on the University Nevada, Reno, campus and a new Spring Semester rolls around with slushy snow, the university’s main Starbucks is a lifeline for many sleep-deprived students. Student photojournalist Sam Ruebush went behind the scenes to find out more about their friendly and very efficient staff.

“….You have regulars who come in and they love you so you love them even more. And then you’re like, ‘Oh gosh! You’re here, it’s such a great day now….’”
